No matter how much you've traveled around the world or how many times you've been to Europe, the amazing experience of a European cruise is certainly one of a kind. are a wonderful opportunity to visit one exciting city after anotherby means a luxurious cruise ship where everyone is committed to fulfilling your every wish. Whether you're thinking about aNorthern cruise or the Mediterranean, you're bound to have thevacation of your lifetime. Our website is prepared to provide all the information you need about European cruises and as well.

Before selecting a specific cruise you should make up your mind
whether you would like a Northern cruise or a Mediterranean
cruise. The choice isn't hard to make, it all depends on what
kind of temperatures and outdoor activities you prefer. If you
enjoy sun-tanning and swimming in an outdoor pool, or why not,
the sea, a Mediterranean cruise is the perfect choice for you.
Even in spring or fall the temperatures in the Mediterranean
usually allow a fair amount of outdoor activities.

Mediterranean cruises can be subdivided into Eastern and Western cruises. The Western usually start off in Italy and take you as far as the Balearic Islands. If choosing the Eastern route you're most likely to board in Italy and enjoy the beauty of the Greek Islands, Turkey and Egypt. Northern cruises however will definitely call for more clothing and fewer outdoor activities.

The main highlights of a Northern cruise are the beautiful ports
of call which you'll be visiting. If you can't quite make up
your mind for one or the other, there are some cruises which
take you to both destinations, and also include the Iberian
Peninsula. These European cruises are of course longer but they
enable you to really travel around the continent. For complete
information don't hesitate to visit european-cruises.eu.

When thinking of taking a European Cruise remember that certain
periods of the year are more convenient than others. The widest
selection of cruise ships is between April and November, as this
is considered to be the best time of year to travel. High season
for most itineraries is between June and August so if you want a
less expensive vacation you should avoid this period.

Many tourists actually enjoy the mild temperatures of spring and fall rather than the hot European summers. There are also several cruise ships which sail during off season as well, so you can practically enjoy a European cruise all year round. With Mediterranean cruises the best temperatures are in spring and fall, summer is considered to be excessively hot. Northern cruises however are most popular between May and September because of the pleasant temperatures.

European river cruises have also become very popular over the
past few years. Rivers and canals all over Europe offer you the
opportunity to travel as far as the English Channel or Black
Sea. Traveling along famous European rivers gives you the chance
to explore beautiful cities and historical sites in the most
comfortable manner. You can travel from Amsterdam to Vienna and
all the way to the Black Sea experiencing the beauty of the
Rhine and Danube.

Another popular route can take you from the North of France, through Paris, to the fascinating region of Provence in the South. European river cruises throughout Portugal and Spain are also very popular and offer some great sights to see. No matter what route you take, there's no doubt about it: European river cruises certainly represent an unforgettable experience.

Imagine yourself on the deck of a fabulous cruise ship, relaxing
and enjoying to the fullest all that Europe has to offer. It
sounds like a dream come true. European cruises are fantastic
travel experiences; they offer history, beautiful landscapes and
the unique flavor of European culture. If you want to visit the
heart of Europe as well, don't hesitate to take one of the many
European river cruises which are available; the experience is
certainly worth any amount of money.

Lightload Beach Towels are the world’s only beach Towels that fit in your pocket. They are more absorbent than cotton beach towels and can be used as a wind or winter scarf in cold wet conditions. Great for travel or any activity that requires packing light.

Every year my older sister and her friends go for a winter break and this year they have invited me. The break sounds fantastic to cruise and see the Great Northern Lights in Norway.

The ship looks a perfect place to view the Aurora Borealis set against the dark sky, with no artificial light.
The cruise takes you close to the heart of Norwegian Arctic and starts at Bergen, calling at Floro, Malony, Tarvik, Alesund and Kirstiansund and a few more places.

Sounds great, I hear you say but as much as I love the sound of it I am so worried about been sea sick. In the past I have been sea sick just crossing the English Channel to France.

Please I would be very greatful if anyone had any tips to prevent sea sickness?

Motion sickness is indeed very common among travelers, so your concerns are in order. We recently posted about sea sickess and motion sickness. Here is the link: http://cruise.every1loves2travel.com/category/motion-sickness/

We will add a series of posts about motion sickness drugs and medications, as well as natural remedies and other treatments for motion sickness. We hope you will find something that will help you prevent or treat sea-sickness. We would love to see you go on that cruise! :)

I was offered a chance to go on a cruise to Norway recently, but I turned it down. After reading this I think I regret that.

I can cope with the weather - since I live in the UK myself, but I was really more concerned about boredom. For some reason I had assumed that the accomodation and ship would be sub-par compared to the more exotic cruises.

I'd love to learn more about the specific lines and what they have to offer. Perhaps next year I'll try a trip across the pond :)

Thank you for all the advice on motion sickness the links helped very much.

In one of previous replies I mentioned that my son was planing on going island hopping to Greece with his friends. Well here's an up date.

They flew to Athens went onto Mykonos, Paros, Ios, Santorini and back to Athens. He's been out there now 3 weeks and has enjoyed it so much three of them are staying there in Athens to work in a British bar/pub.

Thank god for e-mail. End of his mail to me said, " see you the end of the Summer". Those were the days.
