Exploring Cruises That Go To Ireland

One big cruise ship like MSC Italian offers a cruise that lasts for two weeks. Included countries in the package are England, Ireland, Spain, Italy, Croatia and Portugal. The trip would start in England at Dover. On the third day, the ship would reach Cork before moving on to Lisbon then Barcelona, Civitavecchia, Naples, Messina, Dubrovnik and finally Venice. The ship will usually stop at small cities for one day, arriving in the morning at around 8 am then leaving again at around 6 pm. For bigger cities like Barcelona, the ship may remain overnight or more.

There are also longer cruises offered by liners like Seabourn Pride that last for 6 weeks. The trip would pass along the Mediterranean reaching Western Europe. Main countries included are England, Ireland, Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and Belgium. The trip would start in Venice and pass along great bodies of water like the Adriatic Sea, Tyrrhenian Sea, Ionian Sea, Mediterranean Sea and the Atlantic Ocean. This type of cruise will stop at major city ports in Europe. Total stops will most likely be over 20.

Cruise Tours That Include Ireland

Many other cruise tours include Ireland like a Norwegian Fjords cruise. This is an excellent choice for honeymooners and retirees. An Eastern Mediterranean cruise may also stop over in Ireland plus the wonderful additions of Greece and Egypt. This would be a great opportunity to compare and contrasts varying cultures across continents. Transatlantic and World tours will also most likely include Ireland as a stopover point.

Other notable countries included are Berlin, Moscow, Italy, the Galapagos Islands and Panama Canal. Visitors may also get to see Limerick, St. Petersburg, London, Amsterdam and Copenhagen. For World tours, ships can come from as far as Australia and New Zealand and travel to Ireland a true Emerald in Europe.

Hi there,
wow, that’s alot of useful information! Thank you ever so much for posting it. I have always dreamed of going to Ireland; the problem is, with four kids (one of them only almost a month old) i could never find a cheap enough rate to be able to take my family with me.
Of course i could never leave my kids behind because they have always been with me, they are not used to being away from me and i am not used to it either. Besides, i would love it if they could see where their roots began.
Thanks so much,
MammaBear

i have never travelled on a cruise. I would like to know the comforts involved in cruises. I have read that a cruise has a city inside it with shopping centers, restaurants, pubs and many other facilities. But doesnt all this come with a lot of money? And i guess its not possible for a normal man to travel to any place by a cruise, thanks to the high prices. But it will be good if an option for cheap travel on cruises come up.
