Enjoy a Luxury Mediterranean Cruise
Ship-board entertainment including everything from fireworks to Broadway shows will ensure that you do not get bored while you are on the ship, and land excursions, tours, and water activities will offer plenty of new experiences to enjoy too. Each port has its own unique atmosphere, and will give you plenty of stories to tell when you get back home.
Packing For a Cruise
Before your cruise you will need to take a little time to get organized. You are only allowed two suitcases, and they have to be small enough to fit under your bed in the cabin, or in a small closet. Rooms on a cruise ship are fairly small, so you will probably want to unpack and get organized when you are there, instead of trying to 'live out of the suitcase'.
The rooms may be small, but they are nice, and well furnished – with a queen sized bed, pull out sofa, coffee table, dressing table, and a TV.
When packing, try to remember to bring a couple of pairs of shoes – comfortable ones for walking around in while on land excursions, and smart ones for the formal dinner. Also, take clothes suitable for a number of occasions too. Formal dining nights will usually have a dress code, and for tours and excursions you will want clothing appropriate for the weather, and the place you are visiting. For example, if you will be going to the Vatican you may need a hat or veil for when you go in the basilica. You may be able to leave toiletries at home and buy what you need on the boat, but if you have some free space then it will be cheaper to bring your own.
You will not be short of things to do on the cruise – you can get golf coaching, see a massage therapist, take in shows and comedy entertainment, or join a fitness class. If you want to try out new things, learn new skills, or improve existing skills then a cruise is the perfect environment to do it in. A Mediterranean cruise is the perfect idea for a romantic holiday too.
