Disney Cruises: Special Fun For All The Family

A Disney cruise is a special, magical form of holiday that everyone of all ages can enjoy.  A Disney cruise is ideal as a romantic holiday for two, and just as much fun for a family with young children.  Disney offer cruises to a number of destinations, including the Bahamas, the Caribbean, and Mexico.  No matter where you would like to go, or what you are looking for from a cruise, you can be sure that Disney cruises will give you a fun and exciting holiday.

The Ships of The Disney Cruise Line

Currently, Disney Cruises has two ships in its fleet; the Wonder and the Magic. These two ships are sister ships meaning that they are similar in size and structure. The ships were created in the style of the classic cruise liner, and this timeless elegance is found throughout the interior and exterior of the ships. The only difference between the two ships is primarily the itinerary that you choose. In 2011 and 2012, Disney plans to add two more ships to its fleet that will be considerably larger than the current ships. While the Wonder and the Magic hold about 2400 guests, the new ships will hold up to 4000. There has not yet been information about what the itineraries will be for these new additions, but you can bet that there will be considerable excitement when these new Disney cruise ships make their debut.

Great Dining With Disney

One of the most unique things about the Disney Cruise line is their dining system.  They operate a rotational dining system, where there are three unique dining rooms all kitted out to a different Disney theme. Each night, you try a different dining room and experience a new aspect of the Disney magic.  Your waiting staff come with you when you change rooms, so you will still get the same great service, and your waiter or waitress will remember how you like your meat cooked, and what drinks you would like, etc.  The rotational dining system means that every night you have something to look forward to, and adds a little excitement to the dining experience.

The Disney cruise experience is more than just the nice ships and the interesting dining rooms.  The entire experience is special.  The state rooms and suites are bigger and designed for families.  The entertainment on offer is family friendly and pays homage to the Disney magic.  If you want feel good entertainment, and the childlike wonder and magic that only Disney can offer, then a Disney cruise offers an experience like no other.
