Caribbean Cruises: Magaritas, Excursions, & More!

Caribbean cruises take you to some of the most beautiful islands in the world – around the Bahamas, Cancun, the Cayman Islands and Jamaica to name just a few.  You could enjoy snorkeling or scuba diving, or just spend your land excursion time relaxing on the beach.  While on the boat, you can take advantage of the spas, the pool and the varied clubs and lounges.  What you drink is up to you, but many feel a Caribbean cruise is not complete without sampling a few margaritas.  One of the ship's friendly bartenders should be able to make you a good margarita.  Befriend him, and as the cruise goes on you may find that he adds a few extra shots to your drinks!

Caribbean Excursions

The excursions on Caribbean cruises are awesome. There is swimming with dolphins, stingrays and sharks. You can scuba dive, snorkel and parasail and even go on a fabulous deep sea fishing adventure. There are trips to isolated beaches and lush forest parks and plenty of shopping. Caribbean cruises are a great place to go if you love snorkeling. The fish in the Caribbean are some of the most beautiful in the world and they are everywhere. Swimming with the stingrays is a life time memory. There is something very special about feeling the rays swim through your legs or eat their treats out of your hands. The clear blue skies and the ocean that is three shades of turquoise make these vacations the best on earth.

It is worth exploring the ports while you are on your Caribbean cruise. Many of the waterfront bars serve great margaritas – made of only the best tequila, and with generous measures.  Jell-o shots, and simple tequila shots are also popular, so make sure that you don't get carried away and find yourself unable to get back to your ship on time.  Remember to break up the indulgence with a little shopping   - there are some great markets and stores selling silver, tanzanite and emeralds, which make wonderful souvenirs of your time on the islands.  Take some time to enjoy the music and atmosphere, and you will have a Caribbean cruise vacation to remember.

I am excited to find your blog and all the travel and cruise articles. They are useful and interesting. I have bookmarked your site so that I can come back every day to read them. My problem is that I have not traveled for the past 20 yrs because I was busy building my business and making money! For this reason, I am completely clueless about the travel industry and particularly the cruising programs. I am planning to begin traveling in January 2008 to promote by books (10 of them) and for sight-seeing all over US. I also plan to give my mom and uncle a world cruise, for example in the Queen Elizabeth ocean liner of anyone by Cunnaid cruise ship. But I have no idea where to begin to research and to gather information to plan all this! Perhaps you can give me some ideas? I am ready to pay you for helping me because I really need some serious help. How much would you charge me for your time to help me to get the right information and to be able to plan this correctly? I want to be able to know every step involved in booking the cruises, the sight-seeing and traveling to all the most interesting hot spots in the whole of 50 states. I want to be able to know the cost for all of this. I have a budget of $100,000 to spend for my own traveling and for my mom's and uncle's world cruises and I have no idea if this would be enough? I am completely clueless. I am desperate, please help! Thanks.
