Enjoy The Caribbean At Any Time of The Year

Have you ever dreamed of relaxing on white sandy beaches by day – soaking up the tropical sun and enjoying fruits and cocktails, before sampling fine cuisine and entertainment as you watch a spectacular sunset in the evening?  Such a dream is possible today, with luxury cruises to the Caribbean providing people with the opportunity to enjoy sun, sea, and sand combined with luxurious accommodations.

A luxury cruise to the Caribbean is no longer out of reach of all but the richest among us.  There are many companies offering Caribbean cruises, and the hardest part of planning your cruise is choosing which company to go for, and which islands to visit.

Where to Spend Your Cruise

The Caribbean is basically divided into three areas for the sake of a Caribbean cruise itinerary. The eastern Caribbean cruises will visit ports of call like Antigua, Barbados and the Bahamas. The U.S. Virgin Islands, St. Maarten, St. Kitts and St. Lucia are other beautiful stops that you might see on your eastern Caribbean cruise. These voyages will usually begin and end in Puerto Rico, giving you a chance to explore this exotic island as well. The western Caribbean may include ports like Haiti, Jamaica and even Mexico. And the southern Caribbean will offer some of the best snorkeling on islands like Aruba, Curacao, and the British Virgin Islands. This is by no means an exhaustive list of all of the wonderful ports that might be on the itinerary of your next Caribbean cruise.

When to Take Your Cruise

Sailing during hurricane season may not sound all that appealing, but, since hurricane season covers the second half of the year, and offers slightly cooler, and more attractive weather, many cruisers consider it a viable choice.  Cruises are usually less expensive during off peak times, which cover January through May along with the hurricane season.  Spring cruises offer a nice chance to escape the colder home weather, but are a popular choice with many families – so if you wish to avoid children then this is a bad time to take a cruise.

Caribbean cruises take you to a beautiful part of the world, with entertainment on offer for everyone.  You can explore the tranquil waters, laze on the beach, party, or browse the local markets.  Book your cruise today, and your next holiday will be a spectacular one.
